One of the daunting tasks of planning for your wedding is finding the right ceremony music for your wedding. In the past most couples were chosen some songs from the church and every wedding pretty much sounded the same.
The bride came down the aisle to “Here comes the bride” and left to “Mendelssohn’s Wedding March”.
Not that there is anything wrong with any of these songs as they are classics, but times have changed. The majority of weddings take place outside of church now a days. Couples want songs that reflect more of their personalities and or style. Many couples are getting married outside, hotel ballrooms and or various espaces.
So the question becomes what sort of music would you want to have for your wedding ceremony?
- Something more classic
- Something more modern
- A popular song stripped down acoustically
- A slower version of a song you both enjoy
- A cover song that fits more of a ceremony vibe
